Who is Sepsci Lab Rentals?

Sepsci Lab Rentals, established in 2013, is a proudly South African owned, level 4 B.E.E. company that focuses on the provision of full service instrument lease solutions to clients in the laboratory and medical sectors. The company was established as a direct response to the South African laboratory sector’s requirement for a term product that successfully places instruments in the laboratory, hospital or hospital, together with providing the means for a managed maintenance and consumable supply requirement, whilst alleviating the need for our clients to lay out capital for instrument purchases.

 

Our primary financial products and services are;

Provision of Off Balance Sheet Operating Rental Contracts, either with or without a managed maintenance element and consumable supply element.

 

Expertise

The executive management of Sepsci Lab Rentals are all well versed in the requirements of the laboratory instrument market, from the physical product and financial product perspective. By combining the expertise of our shareholders, being Investrent, Separation Scientific SA and Westbrooke ARIA Ltd, part of South Africa’s largest 12J fund manager) we have been able to identify and package the most appropriate solutions for our focused client base.

Stephen Mc Taggart – C.E.O.

Stephen has been in the asset finance sector since 1987 and is a well-versed asset finance specialist focusing, on the technology related sector. Stephen has, together with industry experts, developed and refined a number of products that have assisted in providing clients with the most appropriate and effective laboratory finance solutions for their business’ growth. Stephen also serves on the boards of Investrent (Sepsci Lab Rentals holding company), Innovative Laboratory Solutions, , SCT Credit Solutions, SCT Capital (Mauritius) and Green As NZ (New Zealand).

 

Tiaan Jonk – Finance

Tiaan graduated from RAU with a B.Comm and from UNISA with a B.Compt Hons, majoring in Accounts, Tax, Auditing and Cost Accounting. Tiaan specialises in financial consulting to the account management industry. Tiaan also serves on the boards of Investrent (Sepsci Lab Rental’s holding company), New Integrated Credit Solutions, SCT Credit Solutions, SCT Capital (Mauritius), Green As NZ (New Zealand), Natural Beverage Company, Green Charcoal SA and Nutristar South Africa.

 

Greg Northfield

Greg Northfield started Separation Scientific SA in February 1987. The company initially focused on the Biotechnology market in South Africa and then developed into other laboratory markets, including clinical diagnostics, Life Sciences, Analytical analysis labs and production labs. The company now operates as a group of 8 subsidiaries operating under the group name of Sep Sci Group. The Sep Sci  Group of Companies operates on the African continent with a specific focus on the subequatorial African region.
